Well, I just tried to compile genesis version 0.4.0 under Linux
(Slackware 3.0) and although it compiles with warnings about comparing
pointer to integer it has no errors, yet when I attempt to run it with
"coldcc -h" or "coldcc -v" it just thrashes the hard disk and eventually
will prevent me from doing anything but press the reset. If I press
Ctrl-C quickly enough it will say that it caught the interuppt then
segfault.
I'm running a P100 w/32Meg ram. Any suggestions would be much
appreciated. This is my first attempt at compiling this MUD. I've
compiled bunches of other programs with no problems.
