Each genome released by CL has a number associated with it, this is a release number and the different versions are listed here. The GEN and GNO files for each version are supplied here.
45 - The original North American release contained this genome.

46 - All European versions (and the upgrade patch) contain this genome.
The difference between 45 and 46 was in the TimeLine organ. In genome 45 it was possible for the organ to mutate, or be removed entirely, so that the creature lived forever. Genome 46 was altered so that this organ could no longer suffer from this.

47 - Expressive genome.
This genome is identical to genome 46 in all aspects apart from the thresholds defined for the facial expression genes. All previous genomes used thresholds that meant it was very unlikely for any face apart from the 'normal' expression to be used, unless the gene itself mutated.
