   Is anyone giving the source for a VC++ compile away? I'd like to =
compile it for myself, make a few changes.

  There is also a copy of the gdbm/ndbm source with pre-compiled VC++ =
lib files available via link from my page at =
http://www.geocities.com/inindo.geo and a link to VC++ win32 binaries.  =
I've submitted some changes to help genesis compile with VC++, I'm sure =
however that they are posted to the source yet.

    The installation intructions for Borland C++ 5.x are in the docs =
directory=20
    and still work with some minor fiddling. IIRC you need acces to a =
unix-like
    configure, yacc, or bison to prepare it for compilation. Also you =
need a
    Windows version of gdbm or ndbm to link it. You can find that on my
    site as the one on the Cold site is corrupted. (see URL below). You =
need
    Perl to run some of the utilities and the regression tests.

    Or you can download the Cygwin (Linux tools and emulator) =
distribution=20
    and follow the regular instructions.

    Some others have compiled it using VC++ as well.

       Could you explain to me how to Install Genesis and ColdCore under =
Windows 98? or has it still not been figured out yet? Help would be =
apreciated..   Thanks..
