[Coldstuff] IRC Orb room... has anybody done an AIM proxy?

related to that, anyone have the IRC Orb room running, or have any comments
or documentation on it? I took a look at it once, but never got it going.
I've been doing a bit with MOO-IRC and if the IRC Orb room runs at all
nicely, it might be an interesting(but kludgey) way of MOO-IRC-COLD
communications.

As to the AOL side, I tried doing something like this on a MOO using Jabber
as a sort of middleware. Jabber talks with AIM and I got Jabber talking
with MOO. However, the handshaking was pretty messy and I never got a
connection all the way from MOO to AIM.

So, is anyone doing any Jabber development in ColdC?

Just out of curiosity here. I know Neale made the IRC Orb room which
proxied with IRC; has anybody made a similar thing for AIM or other chat
servers?
