Well, most split screen clients that I am familiar with (tf/vt) still 
handle it (they just put the prompt down in the input window).

However, this behaviour can be disabled with:

@set terminated-tell=no

(It should actually be the default for _new_ users, its just in the ALPHA 
the user is actually me, so it was on).
