The idea would be to standardize ports, so its just known that a N type server
would be on the same port for the same application.  The idea of connecting
thorugh the same port for _everything_ is bad in my opinion.  We can use more
ports, why not use them?  It would mean less complicated code in the end, and a
much more simple design.
