Further method cache changes

Good day.

Today, I checked some code into 1.1 that fixes the method cache for
frobbed methods.  Previously, they weren't calculating their hash value
properly for the method cache.  This code will be checked into 1.2 after I
finish a bunch of other changes to the method cache code for the removal
of unnecessary invalidations of the cache.
