while it may be fun to throw around words like "incoherent", please keep in mind that there was never full agreement that cord SHOULD be changed to mcp-cord. (the disagreement seemed to hinge on whether "mcp-" meant "messages that communicate about mcp itself" or "whatever messages we happened to throw into the spec".) that said, i'd rather change cord to mcp-cord than wait again.
