2.1 Implementation


I am currently updating the Java applet at
http://www.xao.com/client/elaborate to be compliant with the *required*
parts of MCP 2.1.  I will announce here when it works properly, and
provide a list of the OOB messages I am using.  The code will be released
under some variation of the GPL. 

The applet is known to work in Netscape 3.02, and IE 3.0+ on all platforms
except Mac system 7.0 or before.  The less elaborate client at
http://www.xao.com/client works on all platforms we've tested, including
some of the less likely ones like HPUX and SGI.
