data tag

i believe _data-tag is the name we've used in discussions.  however,
now that i look at it again (siiigh), _data-tag is an invalid
identifier and hence an invalid keyword.  (so is _data_tag.)

since i've never liked this use of the underscore anyway, i propose we
replace _data-tag with data-tag, _id with id, and _type with type.
it's time for ayes, nays, and counterproposals.

this one is probably worth holding up the spec for.
