moo-wizzen Topic: [MOO-wizzen] SSH or SSL connections to a MOO

I know this subject has been broached several times, but after going
through the archives (up to 2001 at least, as the 2002 archives don't
seem to be available) I couldn't find any real results other than an
SSL patch for an older version of the MOO, using SSLeay which is itself
old at this point, and no real references to SSH work.

IS there a patch or internal MOO object that can handle SSL or SSH
connections on the modern MOO server?

Any help would be appreciated greatly.

I saw the old SSL patches, but never really paid attention to them
because I could never find the other half of the solution. That being
SSL-enabled clients. I wasn't able to really find any SSL-enabled
clients, and for what I was wanting, I would need both UNIX and Windows
clients for it.

However, just setting up the server to do SSL is trivial. You don't
even need to recompile the MOO, just setup stunnel in front of it.

KiMOO, the client I've been idly putting together in Java, could support
SSL. I'll look into implementing it this weeken
