Subject: [MOO-wizzen] LambdaMOO and Cygwin

Hi all, I've been trying for a while to get LambdaMOO to compile under Cygwin. It wouldn't work properly at first, in fact I couldn't even get the configure script to run without modifying the FIFO tests (ie removing them) and then I had to modify my-time.h slightly. It eventually compiled, and I was ready to celebrate, but while the compiled moo binary runs, it doesn't want to let anyone log in (even if their passwordword is reset with the emergency interface in the fashion that has always worked for me before to allow passwordless login to the uberwiz account). Has anyone had any better luck with Cygwin? I'd really appreciate any help that anyone could send my way, or any suggestions on better tools to try to get LambdaMOO working under Win32 with (other than WinMOO). Thanks in advance for any help! -- Kevin Hughes Senior Developer Vantage Communications hughes@nospam _______________________________________________ Moo-wizzen mailing list Moo-wizzen@nospam http://www.moo-cows.com/mailman/listinfo/moo-wizzen
