The point, to me at least, is not to reduce the number of lines in
 a method.  It's to make it LOOK good.  To be _readable_.  Which is
 exactly what you'd like to see, apparently.

I want the freedom to CHOOSE to use an assignment as an expression,
 to express my idea of readability.
