maybe "all specified versions" or "all published versions" or even
"all known versions".  or be even more explicit.  i don't want anybody
to get confused and think they have to support 2.0, even if it
_doesn't_ exist.

might also be worth stating explicitly that if you understand ranges
1.0 to 2.1 and you communicate with someone who states version ranges
1.0 to 2.0, you're stuck with 1.0 for common ground.
